Are you a payroll systems expert ready to lead complex, high-impact projects? We’re looking for an experienced Functional Lead – SAP SuccessFactors Payroll to take charge of payroll system strategy, optimisation, and integration. You’ll work across SAP SuccessFactors (ECP, EC) and WorkForce Software (WFS), driving operational excellence while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead payroll system enhancements and process optimisation aligned with business goals.
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to align priorities and deliver improvements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance during incident resolution and system updates.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and Finance to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
- Engage with Solution and Enterprise Architects for technical design and input on payroll system enhancements.
Platform Ownership & Technical Configuration:
- Configure SAP ECP and WFS to meet evolving business needs, including transport management, reporting, and user interfaces.
- Oversee Level 3 support and assist Level 2 teams while managing escalations with Level 4 providers.
- Lead the design and support of integrations with SAP, HRIS, IBM Maximo, and Oracle ERP Finance.
- Develop and execute testing plans for end-to-end processes, including SIT and UAT.
- Manage release impact analysis, scope testing, and ensure seamless upgrades across platforms.
Vendor & Risk Management:
- Manage AMS providers and external vendors, ensuring functional designs align with business objectives.
- Maintain governance standards by overseeing security, compliance, and risk management protocols.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to safeguard sensitive payroll data.
- Coordinate and lead weekly CAB meetings, ensuring adherence to change management controls.
Leadership & Knowledge Sharing:
- Mentor and support Payroll Admins, System Admins, and the support team.
- Develop technical documentation and training materials to enhance system knowledge across teams.
- Promote best practices and foster a high-performing, collaborative environment.
- Manage system administration tasks, including user provisioning and role design.
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience with SAP SuccessFactors (ECP, EC) and WorkForce Software.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex system integrations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills.
- Expertise in payroll business processes, security, compliance, and governance.
- Ability to develop technical solutions, test plans, and manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
